Zhongzheng (Ximending area) — Best for Shopping and Youth Culture
- Best for: young travellers, shopping enthusiasts, K-pop and J-pop culture fans
- MRT: Ximen (Blue/Green Lines) — central, walkable to Taipei Main Station
- Must-mention: Ximending pedestrian zone for street fashion and food, Red House Theater arts market (weekends), Longshan Temple for traditional contrast
- Tip: Ximending is Taipei's answer to Harajuku — the pedestrian zone is busiest 4–10pm on weekends; include this for guests planning their visit
Xinyi — Best for Taipei 101 and Upscale Stays
- Best for: luxury guests, business travellers, first impressions of Taiwan
- MRT: Taipei City Hall or Taipei 101/World Trade Center (Blue Line)
