Kitchen
- Wipe all countertops and backsplash
- Clean hob, burner grates, and knobs
- Clean inside and outside of microwave
- Clean oven interior if guests cooked
- Empty and wipe inside of fridge; check for left-behind food
- Run dishwasher or hand-wash and dry all dishes
- Empty all bins; replace liners
- Wipe sink and polish taps
- Clean coffee maker and descale if needed
- Restock: coffee pods, tea bags, dish soap, sponge
- Mop floor
Bathroom
- Scrub toilet bowl, under rim, outside, and base
- Wipe sink, taps, and soap dish
- Clean mirror (streak-free)
- Scrub shower tiles, floor, and glass screen
- Wipe shower head and remove limescale
- Replace used towels with fresh set (fold neatly)
- Replace toiletries below half
- Empty bin; replace liner
- Mop floor
Bedroom(s)
- Strip all bed linen and replace with fresh set
- Hospital-corner or hotel-fold — consistent style
- Dust all surfaces including headboard and bedside tables
- Clean mirrors
- Vacuum mattress if accessible
- Vacuum or mop floor including under bed
- Empty bin; replace liner
- Check wardrobe for left-behind items; empty if found
- Check under bed and behind furniture
Living Area
- Plump and straighten sofa cushions
- Wipe coffee table and TV unit
- Clean TV screen (microfibre only)
- Dust shelves, picture frames, and décor
- Vacuum sofa and armchairs
- Vacuum or mop floor
- Check all remote controls have batteries
- Reset any games, streaming services, or speaker playlists
Final Walk-Through
- All lights and appliances off
- Windows locked
- Front door locked and key returned
- Check Wi-Fi router is on and router light is green
- Take timestamped photos of key areas (damage protection)
- Restock welcome items: water bottles, snacks if applicable
- Set thermostat to default
- Confirm checkout report sent to host
